Industrial Drafting and Project Management
ADUP is based in the south of Sydney, Australia. It deals in project management and drafting.
As the leader of the company, Steve Turner is a member of the Australian Institute of Project Managers and has over 30 years of project experience with a career beginning in the construction division of NSW Railways then passing through BHP and Caltex.
ADUP Pty Ltd was established in the early 80's to deal with a wider customer base, which has included a good number of the major companies in NSW.
With Shell as a customer ADUP designed and managed works in most of the major country towns and
airfields in NSW/ACT. With Mathew Hall, 
Hornibrooks,
Sedgemans, Thomas and Coffey and others, Steve has had a variety
of process and construction projects.
Office Systems
Not only are we up to date technically/computer-wise, we are trained
drafters, not just CAD operators. The latest trend is to post documents
to a web page in a way that the customers can view them using their
web browser. We are established, our equipment and systems are set
up tried and proven. It saves a lot of time without the need of
specialist software to view the drawings. We have some samples on
our ftp site. If you contact us at cad@adup.com.au we will give you a password. By using the email as well we can offer
a quick and cost effective service virtually anywhere. In most circumstances
we offer a fixed price for the work.
Methodology
ADUP has grown since it started in 1982 and tasks now fall into three-phase. Steve Turner gathers data, defines the scope of work and manages. The draftsmen create the drawings uninterrupted. Jill Turner manages the office and accounts. This forms the basis of our simple Q.A. system.

ADUP is also involved in process systems, storage and handling of dangerous goods and general construction. Drafting and document management plays a big part. Approaches to Councils and Authorities is also a task that customers wish to delegate.
